Wedding Details
The wedding is being held at our friends' Julie and Paul Thomson's home in Altadena. We will be having an outdoor ceremony under the property's redwood trees, followed by drinks in the yard, then dinner and dancing on the tennis court.
GETTING THERE
Unfortunately, there will be no parking available at or around the home of the wedding.
Parking will be available at the St. Mark's Church parking lot (1050 E Altadena Dr, Altadena, CA 91001), as well as street parking surrounding the school (on Altadena Drive). NOTE: the entrance to the parking lot is on Maiden Lane, just south of Altadena Drive.
The shuttle bus will be making trips from St. Mark's to the wedding venue starting at 4:00pm, and will come back and forth (10 minutes round trip) until 4:45pm (ceremony begins at 5:00). The bus will then be available to shuttle back to the parking starting at 8:00pm, with the last trip down to the parking lot at 10:45pm sharp. The St. Mark's lot will be LOCKED at 11:00pm. Please note that there are no food or drinks permitted on the shuttle.

You will have the option to park your car at the off-site lot and shuttle to the venue (then back to the lot at the end of the night), or Uber/Lyft to and from the house.

THE EVENING'S EVENTS
4:00-4:30pm- Arrival
5:00pm- Ceremony
5:30-6:30pm- Cocktail Hour and Children's Activities
6:30-7:30pm- Dinner
7:30pm-on - Dancing and Dessert
8:30pm- Children's Outdoor Movie Screening
ATTIRE
Jacket and Tie/ Garden Party Attire
The entire event will take place outdoors and it will cool off after dinner. Please bring something warm. The venue has uneven terrain, heels not reccomended.
CHILDREN
We are excited to include children in our wedding and have activities and food planned specifically for them. Children should come dressed to impress and ready for their own night of fun!
Cocktail Hour Activities- While adults enjoy cocktail hour in the yard, children who wish to participate will enjoy a scavenger hunt and crafts led by Sequoyah alums Izzie Arroyo and Ella Brown. Older children are encouraged to come and help with the little ones.
Food & Drink- Children will be offered a variety of agua frescas and under-10s will have a special dinner menu.
Nighttime Movie Screening- Around 8:30pm, we will have an outdoor screening of Toy Story (Rikki & Erin's favorite children's movie), so parents can have some child-free dancing time!
